2018 Graduation and School Year End Celebration

To the Rhythm of the Dance!

This was the title of the 2018 end of the year show

A message from the school principal

“There is nothing so profitable in a state as music. There is nothing as necessary for men as dancing. A state cannot survive without music. Without dancing, a man can do nothing.” With this thought of Molière in his play “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme”, Mrs. Lisette Mazraani introduced, on behalf of the Providence Academy, her welcoming speech at the end-of-year show that took place on June 1st.

Therefore, this cultural program, integrated in physical education, dance, and musical and visual art classes, gave students the opportunity to live happy moments and develop a wide range of personal, academic, and cultural skills as they prepared to celebrate the various festivities related to physical education, arts culture, and social education through the right choice of stimulating and fulfilling activities.

The show took place to the rhythm of classical and folkloric dance, and choir singing which reflected both the artistic talents of the students and the professional supervision of the teaching team. It had to integrate the graduation of nineteen students of the Senior Kindergarten. All of them “will be starting the Preparatory Course (Grade 1) next September thus starting a new phase of their school life”.

Congratulations to the parents for all the support that promotes the students’ fulfillment and their success, and to the teaching staff for their dedication and professionalism, including Mrs. Inaam Nahas and Mrs. Lisette Mazraani for the welcoming speech, to Mrs. Manale Soueid, Mrs. Sabaya Farjon, Mr. Toni Yazbec and Sr. May Ghorra for their professionalism. To the graduates, we wish you every success for Cycle 2 and all those who made this celebration as enjoyable as possible, our heartfelt thanks!
