Let us sing the Emmanuel in family 2014

The great gift that God has given the humanity is the gift of family: this is why our event is entitled “Chantons l’Emmanuel en famille” “Let us sing the Emmanuel in family” and with our family.

“We will invite you to come on the stage and sing along with your child, said Sr Nisrine. How did we get the idea of having the parents sing with the child and why?

First, our school is unique in its great family atmosphere.

Second, the spirit of family is one of the charismas of the Antonine Sisters Congregation.

In addition Pope Francis encourages the families, in the October synod dedicated to the families and in his homilies, “to receive Jesus, listen to him, talk with him, guard and protect him, grow with him and thus improve the world”.

When we thought about having the parents sing along with their child, the students were so excited. The grade 6 students, in their statistics class did a survey: they asked the parents if they like to sing with their kids on the stage and 85% of the parents answered positively. So here we are.

I will be leading you throughout the show inviting you to either come before your kids or to follow them and sing.

Please feel free to come on stage or sing from your place; we really respect your decision. The most important thing is to have fun and to sing the Emmanuel.”
