 Education for sustainable development

Discovering the city’s world through a tale, but also discovering that “the most beautiful place in the world” is adorned with all the colours of nature, this is the KG1 project for the fair scientist this year. After reading the French tale Le plus bel endroit du monde by Marwan Abdo-Hanna, illustrated by Angela Nurpetlian, the KG1 students looked at the solutions they could propose for a better life in the city and on planet Earth !

The KG1A, with their teacher Renée Ojeil, were interested in creating a green city and planted seedlings to bring colour to the gray city! The KG1B, meanwhile, reflected with their teacher, Petra Chbat, on what could make planet Earth happier and warned against the dangers of wasting water and electricity.

Congratulations, KG1 students, for your eco-citizen involvement! Congratulations to your parents and teachers! You carry within you hope for a tomorrow that is more respectful of the environment in which you live! Congratulations especially to Mrs. Ojeil and Ms. Chbat for having aroused young students’ interest in issues that occupy the news: you are really training the citizens of tomorrow !
